ISAL goes to the Red Sox!

Boston has great universities, museums, and parks. Did you know that it also has amazing, world-famous sports teams? The Celtics (basketball), New England Patriots (American football), Boston Bruins (hockey), New England Revolution (soccer) and the Red Sox (baseball).  Most of our students have never been to a baseball game and don’t realize that it is actually much more than just a sports game. The stadium is filled with people of all ages, singing songs together, eating hot dogs and peanuts and just enjoying a few hours outside as a community.

ISAL is conveniently located about 15 minutes away from Fenway Park. This week our Level 4 students were learning about baseball and our Academic Director Max was able to take them to watch the Red Sox play against the Los Angeles Angels. They learned the rules of the game, practiced their English and enjoyed a beautiful early summer day in Boston. This is what classes at ISAL are all about, learning something in the classroom and then experiencing it outside of it!
